Our patient is all settled in at Tacoma General was hooked up to the "grid" and placed on live cam, so to speak. =) He's comfortable, although a bit dissapointed in his accomodations. He was promised a large area with a desk where he could work and is in a tiny room with just a hospital bed. A funny little detail.... he cannot keep his laptop plugged in to the power because it was grounding him out and causing the EEG to go nuts. The only solution is to work on battery and then when it gets low, he has to stop and take a break while it charges back up. Also, he ironicallyforgot to take his meds at home last night and had a terrible night's sleep because of it. Perhaps they'll get to the sleep deprevation test right away...
