You make me laugh like no-one else can. You are a generous soul who lights up a room with your presence. I love our inside jokes and shared outlook on raising teenagers. We are almost there baby! Seriously, everything is better when you are around.
You've been there for the "fun" family vacations. You know, the one's where no-one is happy all at once. We three girls were lucky enough to have our first vacation that didn't involve camping because of you. Remember Lindsey not wanting to leave her inside cabin and Ashley on the Hulk roller coaster?
I've witnessed some remarkable events by your side. Ones like this that were more special because you shared in the challenges of "getting there" and contributed to the joy of the day... You've been a part of the history and are vital to the future...
What else can I say, but you are so HOT on a motorcycle.... Thanks to you, I can say that I can ride my own, thank you. How many 5'1" girls can say that!? Even though we are taking a break from this hobby, I feel more empowered everyday because you stuck by my side and encouraged me to push through my paralyzing fear. THANK YOU!
This day was a blast for me! Bumpy and boy did I hurt the next day, but we enjoyed the day complete with a picnic and wine during a break. I can't wait to go again... Did I mention how handsome you are?
Oh boy, do I love you for taking me places like this.... Whenever I get stressed out, I think of the white hammock on the beach and the quiet swish-swish of the breeze and water.... Remember the naps and the late evening lobster dinners on our balcony? I saw my first real fire-flies on our walk down to drool over the yachts in the harbor.... You spoiled me even more by upgrading our flights to first class! Did I tell you how sexy you are?
Here is my tool-boy starting our 6-week remodel project. I've never had so much fun getting my hands dirty! We pulled more staples and scraped more caulk than I care to remember, and you did a whole lot more than that, but oh what a feeling of accomplishment! Thanks for pushing me to do this honey, our house is a beauty and I love how it all came together!
Need I say more? This is just one room of the finished project.... You had a vision, and together we made it reality. Every detail was hand picked by you and me...Something I'm so proud of. It's a great example of the things we can do together!!
ARGH!! Although this already seems like ages ago, I have such fond memories of this cruise. We had such a relaxing time with no agenda, no chaperones and the wonderful Bahama breezes.... Mmmmm, I'm ready to go back to St. Thomas and Half Moon Caye how about you?
You get me. You understood and supported me even when I couldn't give words to my feelings. From the moment I explained my crazy life, you accepted me and loved every piece of my history. It's as if the reflection I've been looking at in the mirror my whole life just changed when I met you-- not a drastic change, but just another wrinkle or freckle that somehow makes the whole reflection altogether different and more authentic and completely better. You are an advocate for me when I need a voice and share in my joy of being part of something truly, truly amazing. You get the gift and why it's so precious to me, and will never make me choose.
You are my one and only, go-to guy. The person who's opinion matters the most in my life. The person who tickles me to sleep every night, who picks me up from a hard day at work (yes, they are all hard), or tell me I look beautiful even if I haven't showered yet! You are not just smart, but wicked smart. Not just the kind of smart that comes from reading books either. You are the kind of smart that enables you to explain incredibly complex things to people like me with unending patience! How many times have you educated me on the different types of back-end storage devices and their benefits? =)
Best of all, you are my life partner, my true North and the one I get to share moments like this with for the rest of my days. I've learned so much about myself and the world through your eyes...
